Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD)

Many Americans frequently experience chronic facial and neck pain, as well as frequent headaches, which are often attributed to Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD). The temporomandibular joints (TMJ) play a crucial role in connecting the lower jawbone to the skull and are constantly engaged during everyday activities like speaking, chewing, swallowing, and yawning. Discomfort in this region can be limiting and affect movement.
