EMERGENCy & NEW PATIENTS Welcome!

Immediate Assistance for Dental Emergencies
If you're experiencing tooth pain, call our office immediately! Many people try to "wait it out" to see if the discomfort improves, but this often leads to increased pain and higher treatment costs. Reach out to us at the first sign of discomfort so we can help you avoid further pain and expense.
Abscess or Swelling
If you have gum pain, notice any swelling, or see a small lump on your gums, don't hesitate to contact us right away. These symptoms may indicate a potential abscess (an infection), and prompt attention is essential to prevent the infection from worsening.
Chipped or Broken Tooth
If you’ve chipped or broken a tooth, it’s crucial to get to our office as soon as possible. Once a tooth is damaged, it becomes more vulnerable to further breakage, which can lead to increased discomfort, a lower prognosis for the tooth, and higher treatment costs.
With Invisalign®, you can straighten your teeth discreetly and comfortably while enjoying the freedom of a more flexible treatment option.
Lost Filling or Crown
If you’ve lost a filling or crown, contact us immediately to arrange for a replacement. Leaving the tooth exposed can cause damage to the underlying structure. In the meantime, you can use tooth wax or dental adhesive (available at local pharmacies) as a temporary fix. If you still have the lost filling or crown, please bring it to your appointment.
If You’ve Had a Tooth Knocked Out
If a tooth has been knocked out, rinse it gently and attempt to put it back in the socket if it’s safe to do so. If you can’t reinsert it, place the tooth in a cup of milk or warm water with a pinch of salt. Avoid touching the root, as this helps preserve essential nerve endings and increases the chances of successful reinsertion. It’s crucial to get to our office within 30-60 minutes.
If You Have a Soft Tissue Injury
Soft-tissue injuries refer to any injury causing bleeding in the mouth or gums. Small cuts and scratches usually heal on their own and may not require a visit to our office. Rinse your mouth carefully and hold damp gauze against the injury site for 15 minutes. If the cut is large or if bleeding is excessive, go to the emergency room as soon as possible.
If you experience a dental emergency, always contact our office immediately. We can provide instructions for caring for your mouth after the emergency and help you schedule an appointment as soon as possible. If you have any additional questions regarding dental emergencies, don’t hesitate to reach out.
