Meet Dr. Jake Pranckun
Professional Life
From a young age, Dr. Jake Pranckun loved putting things together, especially his family’s Christmas gifts, and often found himself taking apart objects that probably weren’t meant to come apart. His passion for working with his hands, solving problems, and fixing what’s broken naturally led him toward a career in dentistry.
Dr. Pranckun is originally from Lancaster, PA. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Millersville University and completed his MBA at Villanova University. Later, he attended the University of Pennsylvania’s dental school, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Dental implants and sedation are his favorite treatments. They truly are transformative. Having a patient wake up after treatment and say how easy it was makes him smile every time. Dental implants, when used to replace multiple teeth, change lives. It sounds dramatic, but it is the truth.
Dr. Pranckun enjoys anything with a motor and spent most of his teen years riding dirt bikes and driving his 1967 Mustang. He enjoys building cars that compete in 8- to 14-hour endurance road racing with his sons.
Dr. Pranckun also holds a racing license and is a BMW-certified instructor, where he teaches people to drive on the racetrack. (Let him know if you are interested. He loves sharing that passion with others.)
Dr. Pranckun loves being outside with his kids, Hollis, Brantley, Shelby, and Ella, especially on the water. If he’s not playing with cars, he can often be found on his mountain bike in the woods.
